Exemplar Horticulture
This adaptable cool season perennial forms a clump of stiking blue grey foliage; flower stalks rise 1-2 ft above the foliage with condensed clusters of flowers in summer. Should be cut back to the ground every two to three years. Wide soil tolerance, adaptability with watering needs and more controllable than Elymus arenarius makes this a great addition to all gardens from meadow to tropical. Drought tolerant once established.
More controllable than Leymus arenarius
Excellent as accent, borders, containers and water-wise gardens.
